Since 2009, Café Le Hibou has been a cozy spot in the heart of Wakefield, Quebec —

In 2021, Una McDonnell, owner of Café Le Hibou,became the new steward of Motel Chelsea, a beloved local landmark just 10km down the road.  Originally built in 1958 as The Tulip Valley, the motel has been lovingly revived with vintage charm, great food, curated rooms, live music, and a laid-back, creative spirit.

Both locations also feature a marché, where you’ll find our Hibou Chez Vous line of frozen, chef-prepared meals to enjoy at home along with pantry staples, thoughtful gifts, and charming curios.
